Oct. 26, 2012. The Priory School in Montreal welcomed & entertained its Fall Mixer Program participants in a different way this year. Cultural teams representing various countries including Ireland, Russia, China, Nepal and Australia performed outstanding traditional dances and songs during the program followed by a wide varietiy of foods and drinks from different cuisine.
Shyam Tamang, Yashu Lamsal and Rubiniya Piya from the Association of Nepalese in Quebec (ANQ) performed traditional Nepali dances representing Nepalese culture. Deepak Lamsal, Dharmila Lamsal and Muga Rajbhandari from ANQ also participated this event.
The program was organized to raise fund for purchasing additional laptop computers for its students. A large number of parents were gathered together to make the event successful.
