ANQ celebrated Nepali New Year 2081

 

ANQ Organized Nepali New Year 2081 Program

The Nepalese community in Quebec, represented by the Association of Nepalese in Quebec (ANQ), held their annual Nepali New Year 2081 event on April 27, 2024 at 300 Blvd. Marcel-Laurin, Saint-Laurent, QC H4M 2L4.  A total of 120 individuals attended the program, which featured H.E. Mr. Bharat Raj Paudyal, the ambassador of Nepal to Canada, as the esteemed guest of honor.

The event started with a welcome speech delivered by ANQ president, Mr. Deep Nandan Achhami, followed by an informative talk from Mr. Paudyal. During his speech, Mr. Paudyal emphasized the strong and amicable diplomatic ties between Nepal and Canada, while also underscoring the significance of the Canadian Nepali diaspora to Nepal. The formal part ended with the message of advisors, Mrs. Geeta Parajuli and Dr. Hemant Poudel. 

The cultural segment of the program was full of charismatic performances by several community members. ANQ president Mr. Achhami lastly thank all the performers for their wonderful performance.
